Coach James Parker is a highly regarded basketball player development specialist and also runs West Coast Girls Hoops, Arizona’s only NCAA recruiting service for girl’s prep basketball.  Currently Coach Parker is an assistant coach for Nike Cal Swish EYBL 17U, along with being the programs director of personnel and director of player development. Coach Parker has spent over a decade coaching and training in Arizona. He’s coached at Xavier College Prep with women’s basketball hall of fame coach Jennifer Gillom, Nike GSB and Nike AZ Stars.  He spent a year as an advance scout in the WNBA and several years coaching along side 20 year NBA coaching veteran Gene Littles.  Coach Parker has worked with several MDAAG players and USA Jr National Team members.  NBA Detroit Pistons’ Stanley Johnson played for Coach Parker on Arizona Stars 14u and 15U teams which each placed in the top eight of AAU Nationals in 2009 and 2010 consecutively.

Gene Littles

Coach Gene Littles

Coach Littles played in the ABA for the Carolina Cougars and later with the Kentucky Colonels when they won the ABA Chanpionship in 1975.  He was drafted by the NBA NY Knicks but opted to play for the ABA.  Gene Played his collegiate basketball for High Point University.  After his playing Career Gene started coaching, first with Apalachian State under Coach Marovich.  Coach Littles was an assistant in Cleveland for the Caviliers and interim after George Karl was dismissed.  Gene served several years with the Bulls under Doug Collins and Phil Jackson.  Coach Littles was an assistant and interim head coach while in Denver and spent two years as head coach of the expansion Charlotte Hornets.  In his retirement Coach Gene Littles and Coach Parker have coached several AAU teams together.
